Best outdoor/water shoes with arch upport!

The shoes are AMAZING, my 2nd pair, best water/walking/trail walking shoes ever! I go to Hawaii alot and many areas have water, dirt sand, on trails, kayak hiking tours etc... these are so great and supportive, plus they colors are super cute. I have plantar arch issues and only wear ABEO shoes. Have for over 15 years.

I really need a TOUGH outdoor sandal with a Met pad!!

I so badly wanted these sandals to work for me like previous Goleta pairs I have, but better. I was really hopeful, but I know I have a tricky pair of feet to buy shoes for. I have a low volume foot with long&high arches and a narrow heel. My toe box is of regular width. I have earlier versions of the Goleta Sandal which I use mainly around the house and shopping and at campsite with socks. I love the looks of this version, the met pad seems the same and the wider straps and velcro strips are a design step up for me. I was planning to wear them with jeans and leggings in the summer (Navy). However,....with my low volume foot I cannot expect to wear these on a trail or lakeside. I need to pull down the straps anyway all the way for them to fit which misses about 2/3s of the contact between the matching velcro hooks and loops, a problem I have with my previous pairs. Why is there not more of one or the other in the blank spot between them on the straps? Also, there is a slight change in the height of the back strap, like the strap angle was cut back a bit. Not quite confident my foot won't just have more reason to exit out of the sandal like they do sometimes. But I do think these would handle the long walks sightseeing on mostly flat ground like I've done many times in my previous pairs of the Goleta. Oddly I still want to keep a cute sandal that has a met pad. A difficult choice. Any way for a collab with Chaco?? I really, really need a TOUGH sandal with a Met pad.

Not just for looks

I bought these as a dress sandal but after trying the Cayucos and hating them, these were great for water sports and hiking. They are super lightweight for backpackers counting ounces, nice cushioning and flexible shoes. Held up in salt and fresh water. I have bunions, Morton’s Neuroma, and heel spurs, and these sandals make my feet happy! Would still love it if you brought back the Huntington for the more rugged hikes!

Keeps feet comfortable in Hot and Humid weather!

ABEO B.I.O. Systems (Goleta )- The material used in creating this sandal is the very reason for purchasing. The straps are completely wrapped with a wicking material that prevents feet from chaffing, causing blisters! They are by far THE most comfortable, and, I look forward to purchasing more colors!

Great fit, but more velcro please!

I only wear Abeo metatarsal support shoes and these sandals are the best! So comfortable and the classic casual look goes from the campground to town with ease. I knocked off a star only because my feet are not exactly the same size (my right foot is narrower). Hence, I need to strap the right foot tighter and there's not enough velcro on the shoe for the entire strap to attach so I have an excess bit that flops about. Come on Abel, another inch of velcro certainly won't break the bank.
